Not sure about OpenVZ? We also offer KVM plans.
Find out which is best for you.
Guaranteed Memory
We do not over-subscribe our memory, we ensure there is enough physical RAM to cover the guaranteed memory for every running unit. In the event of a machine failure it might be necessary for an unaffected host to run additional units, in which case all units might be subject to swapping until we effect repairs. Even so all guaranteed memory can still be allocated, and performance will be restored as soon as a replacement host has been brought online.
Burstable Memory
Sometimes your system will come under greater loads than normal (for example, you are upgrading software packages or your website suddenly becomes very popular), and your guaranteed memory may not be sufficient to handle this. On a typical Linux server this could be handled by swap space, but OpenVZ does not provide swap.
To make sure you keep running under these atypical circumstances we let you burst memory - up to double the amount of guaranteed memory. It is important to note that this extra memory should not be relied upon as it might not always be available. To keep our servers performing well for everybody we monitor burst memory, and if your normal system usage is falling outside the bounds of guaranteed memory, we recommend an upgrade to the next plan.
Disk Space
We measure disk space in true SI gigabytes, as is standard practice with hard drive equipment. So with a 15GB allocation, you get 15,000,000,000 bytes.
Stay Connected
When trying to create a successful site the last thing you want to worry about is being too successful. Similarly offsite backups are useless if you are too constrained by your traffic limit to actually use them. This is why we operate a traffic policy designed to keep you connected, and with no additional data fees.
The traffic limit that comes as part of each plan is the total amount of data per month that can be sent or received using all the available bandwidth. Should this limit be reached the connection will be automatically throttled to 128kbit/s for the rest of the month. This way you never lose connectivity, and you never get an unexpected bill.
IP Addresses
By default, we give out one IP address per server since this is adequate for most purposes and IP addresses are a scarce resource. However, you can order more.
If you decide later on that you would like to use more IP addresses than originally planned we can usually accommodate this, however, it may be necessary to restart your server.
Please note that as a provider we have a responsibility to conserve IPv4 space. If you are requesting more than one IP address per VPS, you must supply a reasonable justification for doing so.
Money Back Guarantee
We want you to be happy with your server.
If you decide within the first 30 days that you are not satisfied with our services, we will refund you the first month's cost.
This policy excludes any third-party control panel licences (e.g. CPanel, DirectAdmin, etc.)
