2008-06-29: High Availability

We are closing down - please check your email for details.

We are proud to announce the introduction of High Availability for all our virtual servers.

Most providers use a typical RAID setup to protect data from hard drive failure. This provides limited fault tolerance, allowing the system to continue running even if one disk fails.

Our new RAID 10 setup not only provides enhanced performance, but also mirrors all data to another machine over our high speed network. This allows us to restore virtual machines on another server no matter what fault has developed, typically within minutes.

Not only do you benefit from enhanced fault protection, but also reduced downtime. We can now live-migrate your virtual machines to another server enabling us to perform essential maintenance without interrupting your service.
