2008-06-29: Unscheduled Downtime
We are sorry to report that we have had unscheduled downtime this morning, lasting from 04:03 to 04:47 GMT.
This was caused by a power failure at the data centre, the full details of which are unknown to us at this time but we hope to receive further information later in the week.
The power to one of our servers was restored after approximately half an hour, but the other was down for over two hours. Fortunately, thanks to our new mirrored High Availability setup, we were able to bring back all VPS units onto the first server, thus saving approximately one hour and forty minutes of extra downtime.
All VPS units were brought back online within ten minutes of power restoration, but customers should ensure that all services have been successfully started.
